Translation, however rarely, does not only take place from one language to another but from one cultural sensibility to a new acculturation, Stories of Ikkyu is one such book that introduces its readers to traditional Japanese aesthetics of payfulness in stories. Oghuz character Mulla Naseer that later had became a subcontinental phenomenon, might be one good cultural stereotypical reference for the central character of the book "Ikkyu", but Japanese Humor takes it all to it's unique realizations and cultural practices.
